If you've got the cash to blow and are a resident evil fan then go for it, but not much replay value and not quite as good as RE2 IMO. Honestly not really worth that premium price for the length but it's fun.

I actually rented RE2 a good while back but for some reason I couldn't get with it at all and sent it back after like 3 days

I gotta say, for newcomers I think RE3 is a better bet than RE2, I've got RE2 coming in the mail again tomorrow and I feel having played through RE3 now I'm gonna f***in love this one even more, can't wait

You probably like it because it’s more action oriented and less survival/puzzles. Give 2 another chance it’s much better

playing re7 for first time. this game doesn’t get enough credit

biggest disappointment of this game. I still like it a lot but nemesis is basically a stripped down version of mr x from re2 remake who’s mainly limited to scripted events. biggest reason why this feels like it was fast tracked by capcom. basically feels like an expansion pack. they slapped on the lame multiplayer to justify the $60. we’re getting re8 next year but at expense of this getting released early

Ngl I was with the majority that was a little let down by 3 but i still enjoyed it. I blasted through 2 a few times so might as well get a 2nd run in. You ever played RE1 remake? I'm debating picking it up. I've played RE4, RE2R, RE3R and RE7. Want more lol

There are only rumours on RE8 right now but all leaked from a reliable source. Some of the details:

• Started off as Rev3 but it tested really well so Capcom decided to turn it into RE8
• Stars Ethan, first-person again
• Chris is involved in some capacity
• Apparently revolves around occult themes and certain hallucinations are present

RE1 is my favourite in the series, but it’s gonna be very different compared to the four you’ve played. Still 100% worth playing, it was on sale on PSN recently for $5 so you just missed out

Literally the only complaint I have about this game is that it is way too short and too straight forward. Wanted more encounters with Nemesis because it was such a bad ass villain. Like I said before the only RE game I liked before 7 was 4. 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Couldn’t get into the rest. 7 is what really made me a fan. 2 is amazing in every way.

I hope RE8 is similar to RE7. I loved RE7 because of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe.
