Just finished Village and boy did this slap

Going to go through a second time and explore more with this first play through being mainly story, then I’m probably gonna play that last 2 campaigns in 6

Just finished Village. First RE game I ever played. S*** was fun as hell

Now that the hype has simmered down more I gotta say Village was kinda a letdown overall. The horror vibes of 7 were so good. 8 had such a bigger scope but idk, I feel it was missing something that gave RE2R and 7 that magic. Still solid, I'd give it a 7/10. Maybe I need to do a replay since it's been a month or two.

I like 8 a lot more than 7 just based off variety in weapons, enemy types and locations, 7 was much scarier tho. 8 is very wacky but it reminds me a lot of 4 which is my favorite in the franchise. Neither come close to the greatness of 2 remake tho

i feel the same as the other dude. RE8 was cool but definitely a little disappointing overall. those last two areas just did not do it for me, though the first trip to the village and first two areas were pretty dope.

also i feel like we didn’t see nearly enough of Miranda for her to be the big bad of the game.

definitely enjoyed RE7, 2 and 3 REmakes more
