No they dont. The Series S is the only next gen console readily available at the moment.

Even they have reporting about it & why theyre scambling for last gen ports such as GT7 that was originally for PS5 only. Returnal sold badly, Deathloop + Ratchet n Clank did decent. Only Demons Souls Remake sold great. GOW5 was even suppose to be next gen only iirc like GT7 until all the covid n scalping stuff.

Low chip production due to covid & mass scalping means they cant produce a lot & most of the little made gets bought up by people that play no games (because theyre only buying to sell), which they make most positive money off the software.

If the first party is making 95 percent of their exclusives last gen enable, then why would a 3rd party with more to lose make a next gen exclusive.

Sony has reports, conferences & interviews about this. "True" next gen is hoping to happen in 2023 (as in making more true nex gen exclusives, titles using the tech to its full potential more, n cutting ps4 off which was suppose to happen in 2021), if the factory & covid plans work to their benefit.

How does this work if I got RE2 and RE7 on disc? I could just pop them in and play the standard PS4 versions but I could also upgrade them to digital PS5 enhanced versions?

tbh not sure if you can still play the ps4 versions, but you'll get a prompt to download the ps5 version. every time you want to play it you need to have the disc inserted though
