Is there any story or progression reason to use the carcosan mods?
The ones I have now don’t seem that good I don’t really want to mess with it. The difficulty is still feeling fair so far
I just use the one that makes it so you have full health going in to the boss, that way you always get a fair shot

Need to get that
Might do some +10ish runs in the first area just to see what it’s like
This game is so f***ing heat bro. I’m already loving the aesthetic and world more than Returnal. Gameplay is PEAK as expected.
Awesome to finally see a South Asian protagonist in a AAA PlayStation Studios title. Rahul Kohli has always been dope and it’s dope to see him getting his shine on this.
Repeater crossbow the best weapon
Shot gun with stagger + melee
Shotgun is cheeks
Not true
Meant to use teleporter back to passage with 60k lucenite and it locked me out so I did “return to passage” from menu and it counted as a death
lost 20k

I warned about this earlier itt you gotta be reading
Architect & Shepherd sheesh!
crazy back to back, the arenas, the visuals, and the fight itself, I love it
While I’m having a good time, I gotta say the game so far does a pretty poor job actually explaining and tutorializing things.
Also, coming off of Hades 2, I feel like I’m less crafting a build I have an understanding of and more just grabbing s*** that looks like it has better numbers and then just moving on.
It’s been awhile, but I don’t remember Returnal being like this. Also the game seems to be a lot more linear than Returnal as well.

they put tutorials for people who want it explained, and there’s a ton of tutorials, it’s extensive and helpful.
I prefer that it’s optional, especially compared to games that keep stopping to give you tutorials over and over throughout your playtime
Beat king first try
Holy s*** fight took like 10 minutes had a shotgun and was going crazy
Having all these conversations in the Passage while carrying that absurdly huge crossbow gun is just so damn goofy looking.
Gonna be real though, I legitimately don’t care about ANYTHING that’s actually happening in this game.
Feel like Returnal was much more narratively interesting, and I think the more isolated nature contributed to it.

Pacing feels weird in this game tbh. Felt like I was introduced to the characters in the passage and they all went crazy over the period of like one hour lol. Then the passage felt empty af for the rest of the game
