Yeah they do drop some heat and I appreciate their brand and I still buy some stuff from them every once and a while. But if I just wanted a plain box logo. Like that’s out the question. Can’t even cop easily not wear it without seeming like a d***

It stood for nothing you f***ing sheep, the logo itself was stolen directly from an anti-consumerism painting.

The company produce limited edition items, and are able to sell them by the s***load because they're "limited edition". That's branding 101, Nike been doing it for years, but at least Nike have been using some high quality fabric that half justify the price.

Supreme became what they initially hated just like Apple

    They ruined themselves

What would you say both companies respectively “hated” at their inception?

never really bought any supreme. but i first kinda found out about it from HB forums in like 2009-2010 when I was first getting into streetwear forreal.

I don’t really see what is different from who the main supporters of the brand are from then except it’s the kids under us who are 15-19 now.

I think that all these brands kinda started in skate/graffiti/hip hop/etc culture and us growing up with the Kanye’s/Pharrell’s/whatever rapper put u on to the brand kinda got them all away from their original intent bc at this point the originators of that culture are actually 40+ and have to look at becoming brands that are here for the next 50 years and u only do that thru youth and a little bit of recurring hype and with the “20 year rule” all that s*** from that era becomes hyped again.

I just wonder what’s gonna be the styles when we’re 40 and the kids wanna reference us bc everything has kinda been regurgitating a certain 10 year aesthetic period. Only thing original this decade came up with is the leather power ranger look (lmao) first half of the decade and joggers and s***. And I guess that Lil Baby Gunna stripe style of jogger and overall dress lmao

Supreme situated itself firmly as a member of the counterculture initially. They're as corporate as it gets.

Apple is the same but I don't think either company genuinely anticipated the astronomical growth they've experienced within the past 10-15 years

Also Asian exchange students with too much money

Facts. I’m in college and there’s mad of those. They’re all racist too, like every single one of them, I can’t not think of those people when I think of Supreme.

  • Jan 18, 2020

people have said supreme is dead every year since 08

but that’s just not the case

Brand got lazy, grow up and stop blaming white people for s*** getting f***ed up. In all reality, once OFWGKTA started rocking their s*** hardbody the brand was doomed to go mainstream. Not even knocking OF, just being real. Idk, it's corny to get mad people are collecting OD even if whiteback is corny.

Idk your energy better directed somewhere else.

  • Jan 19, 2020

I appreciate their consistency. They do a lot of things right

  • Jan 19, 2020

supreme will always have credit for getting me into fashion many years ago but at this point im seeing a huge minimalist shift and personally im very far away from rocking s*** thats based on graphics and logos

  • Jan 19, 2020

not to say ive stopped buying brand names but i just feel i dont have to reply on s*** thats super loud in appearance like supreme anymore
