O7OXOFr I think you'd be more motivated to make good s*** for your own fanbase. Doesn't even seem like they are trying at all
Its why I think it's intentional with all the meta stuff they're doing parodying their own show
think they're just trying to kill all the tropes and start fresh/purposefully alienate some fans off the show

tbh the little people storyline in the show was low key more entertaining than the aliens storyline but you haven’t even gotten to that part yet
Well that’s the purpose of a pilot no? It’s supposed to set the tone for the rest of the show.

It's sad because unpredictability and freshness was what made the show great to begin with. Redditors made the show out to be something super deep and complex but really it was just pure entertainment with a splash of philosophy that worked because nobody knew what was coming.
Now it seems like they're just churning out product and cashing checks.

He’s right actually. They’re purposely staying away from furthering the story by doing more seemingly “pointless” episodes and subverting expectations because all the great shows have been slandered and killed by fans wanting fan theory to come true more than whatever the shows actual writers write. No matter what they do it won’t be “good” enough so, they’re having fun.
