S3 was hilarious compared to literally everything after it
completely dropped the show after that filler-ass "heist" episode

take in, if it ended at season 2/3, there would be endless complaints about it. I’d say 5 seasons of this show are enough

They've gotten worse as the season progressed. 1 2 and 3 are all incredible tho

tbh I don’t think it’s fair to compare seasons of this show. there is obviously a decline but every season of the show has misses, the same way that every season has great episodes.

I haven't caught up yet but this new one sounds HORRIBLE. It's like they're trying to sabotage the show.

Last season was fine but a safe retreat after S3 took some chances that divided fans. I don't know where they can go from here but some of these recent plots are modern Family Guy tier.

Why should there be complaints? It's on a cable network owned by a corporation. The creators are just lazy and want as much money from the fans as possible before they move on. Venture Bros. took their time with each season and it was always quality. R&M could've made S3 and 4 a good "end" to the series and done occasional one hour special episodes after that but that requires creativity and not just pandering to the dumbest consumers possible.

Why? It's legit the perfect cash cow cause they literally could've made a one hour episode a year after that and if each one was good, the fans wouldn't complain. But that would've required effort. the show got renewed for 70 episodes at once and the writers are treating it like that. Adult swim is gonna use this as their new family guy when family guy is eventually pulled from all turner stations

Idk I feel like they wouldn’t cancel their flagship show atm but idk u bring up a lot of simple solutions too

genuinely don’t understand how this show took such a MASSIVE DIPPP in quality when it had every opportunity to take it in any direction after season 3. it seems like it’s trying to rely too heavily on shock value n less on being clever bc the viewer base will eat anything up n the creators r aware of that so they gonna milk dis bb for all it’s worth 🥛

The episodes I torrent come with a little clip at the end where Dan Harmon and some staff talk about how the episode developed. The entire clip for episode 4 is "Giant semen, they're riding the semen like Jumanji, oh and there's horse people, then Summer's egg gets fertilized "

Shock value isn't automatically funny I've been enjoying the season so far but this really is one of the worst episodes of the show

I think people ITT praising Season 3 need to rewatch it Season 4 is better, more consistent and less trash episodes. If Season 3 didn't have the Citadel episode, it would easily be the worst one so far

I think every season had good episodes and some average/bad ones, just there seem to be a few more average/bad episodes per season after season 2. S3 has more of these episodes than S4 imo, so its slightly worse to me

it was a fun episode. Only thing i really didnt like was making the incest baby a reocurring character
