https://twitter.com/discussingfilm/status/1449952933592842245spent 5 dollars on marketing huh
This could've been a classic with some regard given to actual language Damon to Affleck; "man I am broke"
Eggers about to show this geezer how it's done
actually really liked this. wish i saw in theaters
thought maybe the "the truth" portion was a lil excessive but i get why it was there since the woman's side was missing
they didn't really bother to act like they were in France tho lol that was the only real thing i have.
bro the way he said it too
"Sir, f*** you. Thank you very much. go f*** yourself"
I really don't feel like checking this out with any haste, a historic made by a director who fell of so early in his career it's not even funny
Still goated for the OG Blade Runner & Alien though, but he kinda ruined the Alien franchise with Covenant

you act like covenant is the problem and not the 7 other sequels that are actually terrible

I could only find one cinema in my area that was playing TLD in the first week of release.
It’s clear the studio f***ed this movie but Scott is determined to not bite the hand and is embarrassing himself by blaming it in the consumers.
It’s actually beginning to hurt his legacy.

Movie was good too, it wasnt a piece of s*** and it had Damon, Affleck and Driver. S*** makes no sense
Seen this last night and it was probably the best movie I've seen all year. Bummer it bombed so hard.
I ain't like this movie at all, felt too long and it also felt like a great movie was in here
I liked the ending though

the truth portion was excessive but going through some of KTT and their views on women it might have been necessary
More and more I think about it, I really f***ed with this movie, doesn't deserve the bad rep it's getting tbh

I was moreso referring to here lol prior to seeing this movie I was expecting some garbage based off this thread.
But yea you're right. Marketing didn't do this movie favors at all. Plus itv was sandwiched in between two blockbusters with 007 & Halloween
