for example, Twitter / Reddit is where things like Bernie Sanders, "defund the police," and Elizabeth Warren were popular, but those things are very unpopular (nationally) in the real world. "Free Palestine" feels that same way
It's my (very basic) understanding that Hamas shoots rockets at Israel, and Hamas shoots these rockets from places where Palestinian civilians reside. So when Israel shoots back, they hit Palestinian civilians. I don't understand the history that much apart from knowing that Israel was founded after WW2 because Jews wanted a home nation to be able to defend Jews worldwide so there'd never be another Holocaust

Then you can come back and try to argue again about how Zionists aren't ultranationalists on the brink of fascist tendencies. And how Israel isn't a colonial settler-nation attempting to cleanse the native Palestinians there.
