Israel is destroying the tallest buildings in Gaza.
Palestine is pretty much helpless, those little rockets is all they got. If Israel doesn't care about the thousands of lives lost, why should Palestine while being oppressed care about these innocent Israelis (of which 83% support shooting Palestinian protestors).
Framing this like both of these sides are as bad as each other or even close to each other is ignoring the facts.

because why do we trust israel when they (according to many) have an interest in labeling whatever building in gaza a hamas operating zone?
Israel should stop Hamas attacks, they have the right to. But the problem is that it is something that is impossible to proof, so who knows they’re telling the truth at this point.

Check the official UN documented kill/injured counts for both countries and get back to me about who is wagering innocent lives to get whey they want.

The comparison makes perfect sense. It wasn’t a literal comparison.
It was a very basic comparison to show the idea of why people have an issue with it.
And the second part of your comment, well that’s for the individual to decide. Clearly a lot of people have an issue with what she said so to them it’s not just about the point of her talking only about innocent the lives lost. She said more than just innocent lives were lost.
