Can’t even lie, the past year and a half, I was curious and critical of some of the designs and redundancy…..and so I’ve been sitting here and feeling like a jackass today. Not because the opinion was wrong or right, but more so because there’s a lot of things Virgil did that were really amazing and really shifted how I thought luxury fashion could be. Even off white, he Def incorporated his background as an engineer into that. I used to think that was so clever. But damn lost track of the good by being disinfatuated by what I disliked the past couple of years. Damn, you never know what the next man is going through. You start to think about certain virgil jokes that occurred past couple of years, and whether they were warranted or not, I admire how mentally strong Virgil was to say you know what let the jokes be what they are, even though he could’ve easily guilt tripped everyone to shut up given the circumstances he was under.
Celebrity deaths and tragedies in the social media age is really something new and strange. I feel like this personally is a teachable moment for me. Like public figures and icons are open for critique but if there’s really something they added to your life, and Virgil Def did that, why not lead with that because that far outweighs whatever you may or may not have been feeling from his output.
Well said my g

Virgil’s version of Won’t Be Late needs its flowers. Love the progressive house elements he brought to this
https://soundcloud.com/user-789744813/wont-be-late-feat-drake-virgil!https://youtu.be/1RqMeoQ4dzMI saw the post from Virgil’s account as soon as it was posted and immediately thought it was some sort of performance art in 3rd person, it was so surreal. Ran to Twitter and it wasn’t even trending yet
Why would Kanye do that goofy s*** knowing he was sick.
