Life is fickle. You could be perfectly healthy one moment & incurably sick the very next moment. And nothing you can do against it. I feel like we never fully grasp the extent of that, how quick the tide can turn, or maybe that’s just me.
Go out there, create, inspire, dream. Treasure the moments you get with people close to you. You’re not guaranteed anything in this life, this is another stark reminder of that. Rest in peace, Virgil.
Did he title it himself? Cause omg
Virgil was eons ahead
I never really rocked with the actual product that he pushed into culture but have always applauded how he (and others) were at the forefront of making this culture actually care about presentation, tact, aesthetic, in a way that allowed our culture to be prominent in spaces that previously we were shunned from.
We still are largely, but less so because of his passions and how far he took it.
Truly awful, awful news man.

Very likely
He probably also told them when to present it

When you dealing with a terminal illness you have time to get things in order. He probably was preparing for this for a long time.

"Final collection with LV" is so heavy
I feel for virgil and my thoughts and prayers are with his family as an individual i'm sure he was amazing but tbh dude was just a proponent of luxury and materialism.
Though i commend his creativity it still doesn't takeaway from the fact that materialism is a subset of capitalism and ultimately not beneficial towards the greater good
$500+ basic cotton white tees and sneakers made in china in sweat shops selling for thousands of dollars
Not exactly someone i would personally idolize
What have you made today
I live in Miami does anyone know where this is so I can go ?

its crazy how reductionist people like you are
i doubt virgil saw himself as a "proponet of luxury and materialism"
heres always nuance to these things, obviously his work is partly a reflection of the system that enables it (global capitalism), but that doesnt negate his creativity and passion
What have you made today
and what have you made today or ever at all?
what be ppls point when asking s*** like this?
