Imagine making a claim like that. We hardly know anything about what his sequel trilogy was actually going to be and from what we do know, a lot of it centered around one of the most hated things/concepts in all of Star Wars.

the closest film we have to what we know about what george wanted to do other than the midichlorian s*** is the last jedi

yeah i respect that, i just feel super indifferent to all 3 movies i guess and I didn't feel that anything major was original even though 8 is definitely more a remix instead of a reboot like the jj movies

I have different major issues with all 3 movies tho

After sitting on it for a few days the pacing, script and video game quest plot were the worst things about this movie for me

They were already on shakey ground b. TFA was always accepted as a passable rehash and TLJ was divisive as much as people downplay it as being haters.

For alot of people I think they wanted this to end strong to make up for them but it ended with the worst of all of em.

Such a shame I feel bad for the cast

The first plant is Mustfar. There was a forest planted outside of Fortress Vader (from Rouge One) and Kylo is heading there to find the Sith Holocron (wayfinder).

It’s one of the themes. Not just bc Kylo says it but Luke’s entire character arc is based off letting go of the Jedi order. Literally in the scene with Yoda he burns down the ancient Jedi text. A movie can have two or more messages, TLJ does

TLJ doesn’t have just one theme
it discusses failure, how anyone can become anyone, believing in the impossible, how old ideas can’t be completely forgotten- moreso just upgraded

We don’t know that until the final 30 seconds. And it doesn’t even matter bc to Luke they were in that moment
