You’re absolutely f***in right tlj was a mockery to my king luke skywalker and a third of the movie was Finn and rose doing god knows what while another third was the resistance getting chased by the first order. Throne room and Rey and kylos dynamic in general was cool but the rest f***in sucked

How dare them make Luke skywalker an actual interesting character and expand on some of the interesting ideas George Lucas had about the Jedi not being this holy good concept

People in your theater might’ve laughed because they’re stupid but that was never a comedic moment.

Anakin’s saber represented everything bad in Luke’s life, the damn thing fell out of his hand when he got his hand chopped off. The other time he used a lightsaber was when he was beating the breaks off his dad with the dark side

Luke being a hermit ”loser” was also great, getting to see his whole routine was really reminiscent of his training on Dagobah. The Jedi ways up until this point caused him nothing but pain and caused him to create another Vader. We actually got a character arc with Luke
