How can you have so epic scenes with Palpatine and then kill him off like that
this was some ass
No f***ing way.
That broadcast that is mentioned in the opening crawl is in FORTNITE???
WHAT
I liked it
And I think alot of other people would too if they werent so hung up on comparing it to the movies that were made 30-40 years ago.
He is in it but just as a voice.
This whole voices thing is top 5 forced fan pandering s*** ever

Is it really that bad
The worst thing about the movie for me was the pacing and Palpatine.
Movies is mostly just yet again searching for a map and mind battles, which isn't a exciting finale for this whole saga or even trilogy. Ending has it moments but the whole Palpatine thing? That does not make any sense
Josh Trank: Hey
Disney:
Phil Lord and Chris Miller: Hi
Disney:
Colin Trevorrow: What’s up
Disney:
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss: Let’s do this!
Disney:
JJ Abrams:
Disney:
And I could throw Gareth Edwards in because they redid half his movie, plus RJ trilogy but nothing official yet so
Knights of Ren were so wasted.
Come on JJ, come on man
Their idea of world building was mentioning a bunch of ancillary characters to create the illusion of depth
It’s the equivalent of hanging plants in your living room
There’s a lot of truth to this and I spoke about it the other day. However, I think the counter argument to this is well, look at Harry Potter and the MCU. 2 franchises, made BY adults with Kids in mind or at least, the kids within themselves
that have done an astronomically better job this millennium putting together a cohesive story within a vast universe that everyone can and does enjoy. The reactions are what they are and there are a ton of reasons for that we can all point to but at the end of the day, where there’s smoke, there’s fire and if any of these films were actually good, the response would likely be overwhelmingly different.
These movies have done well financially for the most part.
I think you under estimate how little children pay attention to quality.
A 7 year old watching this movie isn’t going to care about incoherent plot, or Disney’s Especially if they were already Star Wars fans going into this.
If I’m a fan of something as a small child, you’re not going to tell me that said thing has a bad episode or movie. Everything in that franchise is phenomenal to me at that age.
In fact, I Big theory as to why the Prequels are better received now is that it’s because the children who grew up with them are now adults and now argue that they weren’t that bad.
going back and reading the leaks now
rey was supposed to fight palpatine with luke and leias ghosts before reshoots
