This a nitpick but i thought reys outfit in TLJ was way better then this one.

? How many minutes of screen time did Vader have his mask OFF for. Understand they are 2 different characters, but this is a ridiculous complaint

Some of the complaints on the whole trilogy in this thread is a bunch of whiny nitpicks and unreasonable.

The trilogy is definitely flawed, but some of this stuff is either flaws that even exist in the good movies, or flaws that literally no one any other fanbase of similar series complain about lol

Yeah but I'm saying we're used to a Star Wars villain with a mask on and I don't find the mask that corny, don't see the problem here. Of course Vader's mask is iconic but when u rewatch the OT the mask is about 4 sizes too big and looks ed in some fight scenes. Kylo's mask helped build his character too with the vocal effect

I think people are failing to understand that Star Wars is for sci-fi fi nerds, of course some of it is corny, its meant to be entertaining

It has always been this way lol the force in the original trilogy was nothing but a contrived plot device, and the light saber fights were terrible.

Edit: I didn't mind that but it was mainly because we didn't see their face outside of that one still shot

His mask works better in TFA as it’s point was to be a deconstruction of the Vader mythos and reinforce Kylo’s drive to be as powerful as him.

When he removed it in TLJ it pretty much symbolizes his removal of those desires and instead he focuses in on creating his own legacy

Putting it back on for this movie just comes off as done purely for merchandising.....

Well if you expected a billion dollar franchise to create a movie so far off from the originals than I don't know what to tell you mate
