AshTheRobotThe Complaints like “how is Rey so strong” is such a dumb complaint in a series about Magic Space Powers, where all of the main characters are surviving stuff they shouldn’t survive, and completing task they shouldn’t be able to do if you were really trying to nitpick hard enough.
To which it can somewhat be explained that
1. Jedi Powers are pretty known in the universe
2. The Force Awakens shows that Rey was already extremely skilled with a staff, so it’s not far fetched that she could Pick up on other melee weapens pretty quickly.
3. As stupid and lazy as her being Palpatines granddaughter is, it gives an explanation to Rey haters on how she’s a prodigy and “can do anything”
4. Lastly, she was trained by Luke and Leia, but ppl can’t accept that because “she didn’t train long enough with them”, as if they know how long it takes to master the fictional super powers.Couldn't agree more fam, Star Wars movies have forever been light hearted movies, yet people expected these to be seen in a more dark light like a serious DC movie, in which they still nitpick all those too so I don't know. Start watching more movies like the irishmen if blockbusters are pissing you off that much

Vlonelymy theory was that she was a force child and the true chosen one from the prophecy since anakin didn’t actually bring balance to the force as the chosen one was supposed to
I honestly didn’t need to know any background on her life. i didn’t wanna know.

I didn’t enjoy it but i accepted it initially. I thought if the rest of the plot was good and the emperor was utilized properly then i could accept that.

But it’s all they get, the Stormtrooper treatment look cool and die
Like they really teased these badass mfs for two whole ass movies only for them to go out like lil b****es. Even showed the glowy red parts on some of their weapons hinting that they could hold their own against a saber

In an alternate universe Finn is the main character and Kylo ends up as the big bad. They had everything set up in the first half of TFA to make a classic trilogy and they botched it lmao
