F*** if this Covid closure doesn't stop in 2 months max I might seriously go brazy and buy a Wahoo Kickr Core or something like that

Pretty nice "choose your own adventure" version of Milano - Sanremo from Cycling Tips

    cyclingtips.com/2020/03/choose-your-own-adventure-milan-san-remo

Got 2nd on first try and 1st after 3-4 tentatives

Apparently there's also a point where Moscon knocks you off the bike

I wouldn't mind it in a worst case scenario tbh

French and Italian Alps + Pyrenees for 3 weeks straight

Also need a version with all the Flanders + Ardennes classics packed in a short time tbh

This was the first year where I really looked forward to watching all the races live and now we don‘t get anything

Watching Milan - San Remo highlights from the past years

Worst thing is all the potential stories we won't see:

    • Remco destroying everything on sight and his first grand tour
    • Gilbert's hunt for the only monument race he hasn't won yet (Sanremo)
    • Van der Poel and Van Aert in the northern classics
    • Rainy Paris - Roubaix apparently
    • Quintana's potential comeback after leaving Movistar
    • Movistar even more trash (where's Julen smh)
    • Pogacar potentially going brazy in the Ardennes
    • Olympics race on Mt. Fuji (Nibali pls)

    Finished the whole Movistar thing

    Decent enough imo

    Opinions formed:

    • Nairo: suffered the chaos inside the team, did well leaving (and it was already clear this season after just two months)

    • Landani: Man is talented but he's so stuck in a bubble inside his own head, no wonder he can't reach the top level.
Panache and heart ain't enough for a grand tour win, mindset is key.
But I really appreciated how he encouraged Carapaz via radio in the Giro, he's an A1 good lad tbh

    • Carapaz: Obv as an Italian and Nibali fan I was hoping for a different result, but I can't say Richi didn't show on the road how much he deserved to win tbf.
They kinda did him dirty in the show the way they talked about him leaving for Ineos, without saying anything about the Movistar - Acquadro (his agent) dispute. He did make some dumb mistakes though (like going to that criterium). Btw in his place I would've also left the team for more money tbh.

    • Valverde: Basically the whole team depends on him making actual results lmao. Doping case or not, he's still one of the GOATs idgaf. Nice person as well.

    • Soler: show was worth just to see his reaction at the Vuelta again lmaooo
Felt bad when he said he was hoping for a better 2020 though, who could've known

Maybe La Vuelta or at least the italian autumn classics

I'd love to see him win Il Lombardia or even just the Giro dell'Emilia

Maybe some one day races in July before that. You reckon they‘ll push back Vuelta then or cancel it. I can‘t see the Giro happening at all

Idk about one day races, maybe Milano - Sanremo or something, but I feel like it's already too late for most of them. I'd still love to see at least the monument races anywhere in the calendar tbh

Vuelta definitely pushed back and/or shortened, TdF is way more important ($$) and ASO owns both.

Worlds are still confirmed in late september for now, so Giro could fit in October, leaving the last days of October or early in November for Il Lombardia to close the season

"You go on to finish somewhere around 50th place, frustrated that you didn’t make it into what turned out to be the winning move. Maybe next year?"

these are great, keep em coming pls
