Sadly very true, I was thinking there was some sort of respect between students & constructions workers/university staff but I see I was wrong. Whoever did it had to be connected to the university but I guess I’ll never really know. Either way, walking is TERRIBLE. I had to walk all the way from my job to my apartment and it was hell

I am taking summer classes at my university and I have a $1,000 electric scooter that I have been suing for the past 2 years. Well today once my class was over and came back out and saw my electric scooter was stolen. Now this scooter was locked in the bike rack and someone stole the scooter, my lock, and my pouch of cash/valuables. My pouch wasn’t locked because I didn’t think anyone would rob me in daylight around construction workers. There was tons of construction workers nearby too which got my feeling like one of them mfs took it.
Does anyone know if renters insurance (Geico) will cover electric scooter theft?

I have learned my lesson for sure, next time I’m going to change up the spots I park on buy like three locks. Sad how you can’t even trust the workers in the building smh.

I didn’t even think of a AirTag but I will do it next time. Back before guys broke into my car I had a AirTag in my wallet but the battery died and I never replaced it.
