kusaThis movie is undeniably amazing.
It doesn't force any feelings onto you, it literally feels like raw footage of a story being told 1000 years ago or some s***. It's just a revenge story that doesn't force you to connect to any characters, Eggers LITERALLY made it feel like the movie was going on in another world. That's why I don't feel any of the white supremacist s*** I was hearing about.
I found it quite humorous too
in an ironic way. White people labeled first natives as savages, but these white people quite literally thought they were wolves and s*** lmaoo.Eggers did a fantastic job.
The realism combined with the cinematography makes it transcendent

I personally think Eggers is slightly overhyped. I enjoy his films and appreciate his filmmaking process (he does extensive research and planning which I love) But I also think he isn’t as great as a lot of niggas claim he is.
i haven't seen this one yet (cause of my agenda and me being sick) but even though the VVitch & Lighthouse aren't flawless they are very original & creative by a director with a clear vision. What more do you want
I dont see nobody grouping him in with the greats this early so how is he overrated
