Wonder Woman is good until the final act absolutely s***s on the rest of the movie, horrible CGI clusterfuck and the last scene is tacked on. Mostly it's good though.

The second Wonder Woman is absolutely awful, worse than any MCU movie.

Maybe my expectations were too high

I didn't feel emotionally invested in the protagonist (when he died I was like whatever). I also felt that the progression of some scenes did not flow in a natural way, and I felt that the quality of the dialogue was inconsistent.

But there was some great stuff in there (on the visual/audio side of things). Maybe a second watch will change my opinion idk.

I personally think Eggers is slightly overhyped. I enjoy his films and appreciate his filmmaking process (he does extensive research and planning which I love) But I also think he isn’t as great as a lot of niggas claim he is.

I was expecting a slow artsy film but this was an epic. Reminded me of Gladiator a bit but this was more gritty

VVitch is one of my favorite horror films ever. The Lighthouse is incredible, such an interesting film.
Northman doesn't come close to those 2 films, but still very enjoyable.

Eggers is still one of my favorite directors today

I think I like lighthouse the most. I wonder if Robert is gonna be able to do his Nosferatu film eventually
