Why tf would the entire source code be on slack

Probably used creds to hop into their internal networks through information on their slack channels

I understand it obviously wasn’t the devs decision to wait almost a decade for this game. Take Two wanted to milk as much as they could out of the online.

But c’mon, you can’t expect people to hold that level of patience for such a long period of time. This was bound to happen at some point.

Lesson learned for GTA7. Give the fans something to hold them over. 10 years is absurd.

If it’s the same leaker as the Uber guy as he claims.. Uber guy did the same thing. Got access to the slack, and from there got access to tools and internal VPN’s that allowed him access to the source code

You do realize if GTA5's source code gets leaked, a whole lot of people outside of Rockstar are going to potentially be in harm's way right? Like, that getting leaked may very well put at risk the security of the entire userbase of GTA5 Online
