V wasnt a classic to me so I am waiting and seeing on this one. Hope to see first trailer by end of year

Yea dont get me wrong, the story, characters, etc may be liked by some and may be men to some,but at the end of the day, this is still Rockstar and this is still Grand Theft Auto. I expect if nothing else, an absolutely amazing open world, probably the most ambitious for an open world game yet. Just hope all the other pieces fall into place.

the only thing, i wish is that whoever is writing the stories has moved on from hbo, because after V just being the sopranos, and rdr2 being deadwood, im starting to get a little worried

V was definitely inspired by Breaking Bad and RDR2 made me think of Westworld (Western setting but you also sit there and get immersed by observing things happen around you). Rockstar gets inspired by popping series, some of those leaks make sense because Narcos and some other shows about d****/the cartel were the in thing a few years ago

IV was more HBO/Soprano’s inspired than V. V was more so breaking bad and “heist”

Ofcourse it is. But there’s a lot of references to that show in GTa V. In IV you get a lite mafia storyline similar to Sopranos

Also V was inspired by block buster heist films. Michael literally looks and dress like Robert Dinero off of Heist

I never really thought about it fully being Breaking Bad inspired but if that was their goal it some how becomes even worse

Ppl s***ed on Gta iv for being darker and serious in tone but I absolutely loved that about it. The tone and story of iv was was way better than v imo. I hope gta vi goes the darker tone route.

None of the gta games have good stories. Gta 4 comes the closest but it just has a handful of problems that stop it from being as great as it is.

SAN ANDREAS EXIST

Primarily because it's a different location. I'm tired of Los Santos, San Andreas, Vice City (even tho this only happened once, still tired of rehashes).

And when I look at major cities in the US, I think of NY, Cali, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Austin. And of those, ATL seems the most fun by far.

Stories were good enough for what they were at the time
SA story was ridiculous but great
4 is GOATed and most of its problems were about optimisation but considering they put such a detailed world on the PS3/X360 I can’t even complain

Rdr2 is the acceptation. It has flaws (Goes on a bit too long imo) but i'd say it's one of the better stories told in video games.
