I played GTA 3 and GTA VC back in the day a lot but I can't get back into it after SA made everything better
I played GTA 2 and the world is very interesting but the save system is awful so I stopped playing

Trevor arriving to LS is always the first mission that comes to mind when thinking about playing the game.

and I would agree with this too. San Andreas I liked the story too but somehow IV story a slapper. Only miss there was the choices they offer you don't really make a change

I played it both ways. I was so bummed when Playboy x didn't like me anymore then did the kill playboy x way and now Dwayne the suicidal ex con wants to go bowling

I said in 2013 it was more common to feel however someone wanted about GTA V. Then their improvement of online lead to the whole game to be viewed in a higher regard.

liberty city stories I played had some good missions too. GTA 3 and Vice City feel dated some. Wish they would have actually remade 3, vice city and san andreas during this 12 year gap

I think GTA IV has a better city, but the driving is so off that I consider GTA V a better open-world to just drive around and walk in

I have made clear the entire time the view was more common to be uttered and understood . GTA V was one of the most hyped games of all time. One of the last games where I truly fed into the hype train . I was at the midnight release with friends all of that.
some felt it was a 10/10 but many were utterly disappointed after the wait. That is just the nature of games. I am saying the online mode being such a banger improved the view of the entire game. That is simply fact.
when I say mid I mean in comparison to other GTA games and how many advancements they made. I stand on that.

if 2013 GTA V was not so widely updated and released so many versions this discussion would already be done. I am saying the updates they made to it helped the many disappointed people. If you don't believe me boot up GTA V on xbox 360 or ps3 with no updates.

I understand your point but if you look at my post on this site I never speak for everyone. I say my opinion and that overall someone could say they were disappointed in GTA V design decisions or rate it a 7-8 without anyone being like "YOU BUGGING". I am saying in 10 years of updates that changed. In 2013 it wasn't a hot take

For many of us no but for many that grew up with V and possibly never went back to san andreas, vice city, III or even IV because they thought it felt dated? Yes. This is their GTA and their GTA got many remasters and remakes over 10 years, had a solid online component and support throughout. Our favorite GTAs aren't even purchasable on the psn, xbox , steam or rockstar store like the actual versions we played. Theirs is right there and on sale often
Is it the best story, mission structure, gameplay mechanics to me personally ? No. But to many of them it is. Also the current generations care about graphics, framerate, draw distance more than ever when to us we were shocked it could load a map that big at all yet alone new parts of the map. When we were driving fast and something loaded up we were amazed that it didn't crash that there was more to see at all. Walking indoor in environments we were blown away. Now they expect many of those things
