  • Booting up my review copy of GTA VI only to see that the map in the lower left corner is a live helicopter view of my house

  • Curious how many people got review copies

  • Also curious when trophies will be revealed. That boy Powerpyx grinding away rn I bet lol

I know you fw Microsoft so you not gonna agree but I think something like a 40FPS performance mode would be possible on base PS5 if Rockstar didn't have to develop the game for the Series S as well

Don't have anything to base this on except my belief that even though the console is 6 years old, the full potential of the PS5 technology hasn't been seen yet. That Mark Cerny presentation I posted in here a few days ago was wild to me, it's a bigger leap from PS4 than I thought

If a 40fps mode was possible why logically with a marketing deal would they not do it because of a lower console. What you are saying doesnt even make sense. Games have had lower fps modes on series s while series x and ps5 or pro have different settings.

    the cpu is the issue.

they developed best on ps5 and pro will be best best. Series S isnt holding it back from 40-60fps again if it was they would make a mode where it targeted higher framerate. There is nothing legally that says series s has to be the same framerate or graphical fidelity as other games it launches with

Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V both have higher frame rate modes on ps5 pro, ps5 and series x.

Series S has a substantially lower target resolution

Playstation 5 CPU : Custom AMD Zen 2, 8 cores up to 3.5 GHz with SMT (variable frequency).

Xbox Series S CPU: Custom AMD Zen 2, 8 cores up to 3.6 GHz (or 3.66 GHz with Simultaneous Multithreading / SMT).

Ppl saying Rockstar got your whole govt watermarked during gameplay for review copies?

    https://twitter.com/gtasixinfo/status/2115151142233735497

There’s probably also hidden watermarks as well, movies have this for theatrical releases to identify where CAM/TELESYNC (TS) pirated movie releases come from
