The single-player DLC was supposed to "permanently change the map" for those who played it. That's the confirmed part, and that there were two. The rest was just rumors and leaks. The unsolved Mount Chiliad mystery was probably supposed to play a role. Most of these assets were later used in the various online updates and they tacked on a "solution" to the Mount Chilliad mystery years after the DLCs were cancelled. The base game already had zombies and aliens and various UFOs and a few unused assets in that realm
