The game will definitely be called woker than past GTAs for many reasons including change in heads of the game

I am still worried about the social media gimmick

time will tell but just a game being expensive and many people working on it doesnt mean the gameplay writing etc will hit

again GTA V story is mid to me

oh not just the writing of social media in a game. I also mean of will it really not feel corny to interact to that degree with social media within a video game

Is it the best conveyance of story. Like some cool things that could come from it but there are many parts of social media that arent really fun per se

I think it'd be impossible for GTA to not integrate social the media the way it's being portrayed in the game. That's our world now.

Got one final mission left of GTA IV base game (gotta take down Jimmy P) and so far the game has been a blast. I mean yeah, the backstory is a pretty by the numbers "war is bad" territory, not to mention the contrived "love interest dies to give protagonist a motive for revenge" trope near the end. S***'s played out, but man, the world is immersive, and the gameplay is where it's at. So many fun shootouts and genuinely tense setpieces. Appreciated the quality of life improvements, especially when you remember how you had to get around in GTA 3 and GTA:SA. The taxi is my favorite

I've heard that the cars control like boats but they really have different handling and you gotta figure out which ones hit the sweet spot. If you get an SUV, then yeah, you just doing it to yourself I'm afraid

Personally found the story engaging, more than taking Roman to bowling, or Little Jacob to throw some darts at a bar so I ended up ignoring the calls lol.

Gay dude's missions were all chase variations kindly miss me with those

Not gon lie id like to see the main mission structure changed up a bit for this from the tried and true formula they been using. I don't have no suggestions though

But we know the graphics will be prettier, did the multiple characters thing already but I'm glad it's just 2 not 3 to focus on and they have an intimate relationship (still can't believe I predicted that like 5 years ago lol) but franchise was bound to go in that direction eventually so the story is hopefully more focused. But every game in the hd era has had tons of upgrades etc but 1 major one like IV had the comedy clubs and stuff like that, V multiple characters, so curious to see what this games biggest addition will be. Just rambling I'm at work bored 😂

The whole map of rdr2 is pretty small but feels large considering you’re on horseback or foot the whole time

What mission number will the mandatory racing mission be?

Makes me feel good thinking about how much they've polished the game from just the showing of the trailer in December till now. Man if this really does look like red dead 2 or better in some ways that's going to be quite an accomplishment considering a GTA game (this one especially I'm assuming) is way more dense and bigger.

I genuinely care about there being attention to detail and rpg elements more than graphics
