dopeI’m still hopeful this is releasing at the end of the year. We will get a marketing push from July.
This game really doesn’t need any hardcore marketing either way.
Tbh I think it is. People think it's delayed for some reason lol just because they have been quiet. It's Rockstar they don't have to say anything until they are ready. Surprised most fans don't know by now tbh. Hopefully it's not delayed but I think they are just working on getting it to a state of polish that will really blow fans minds. They know the stakes on this title and it probably looks phenomenal and they really want to come out the gate with a nearly finished product from here on in.
Just my take. But anyway they said themselves their goal is to evolve it again like last time. Can't just be GTA V with new characters and setting, and a lil better graphics. Can't wait to see what is going to be the REAL draw for this one. Aside from just that VI on the title lol

Thats what I'm saying. It will release this year. They know they dont need to do marketing for months and years for this one. They will start to push it in June/July for sure.

Plus, they want those Christmas sales. Now I could see November too. But this is going to be probably the last big console seller of the generation so I think launching at holiday would move a lot for 2K, Sony, and Microsoft.

yea thats what makes Rockstar so unique is that they dont need hardcore marketing, and they also dont have to resort to traditional marketing strategies of previous games. They could announce the second trailer and release date in September and still over-perform.
