How about Arkham ORIGINS appreciation because that one didn’t deserve it’s hate.
especially after what rocksteady did with Knight after it, maybe people hating origins for being too similar to asylum/city were being too harsh

Knight was good
Knight was good
I’m a big big big knight fan so yeah I agree too.
But origins is definitely the most underrated. Then knight

Origins was definitely slept on. World felt kinda dead but that game had great boss fights and some really cool narrative moments.
Classic series. City is one of my favorite games ever.
Knight had the potential to be an all-time classic, open world Gotham City was amazing, but the lack of boss fights was a HUGE miss and they underutilized Scarecrow.
in another simulation the world gets og bioshock infinite and no-tank arkham knight... that's a world i want to live in
Still haven't seen the complete ending cause of how much s*** there is to do for the riddler
Finally did it
When the teaser to City came out
The first part playing through this shook the f*** out of me
Still does
Gonna do a big semi-chronological order replay
Basically gonna do the Batgirl mission from Knight then do Asylum, City, Knight
Wish Origins + Cold Cold Heart was available on the PS Store because I would’ve started with those
Played Asylum & City, never got to Origins & Knight.
Do I need to play Origins before Knight? Or even remember the events of Asylum & City?

Asylum and City, yeah. It pretty much caps off the trilogy and ties into those
Origins, not so much. The only reference to that game happens if you get through the main story but still have stuff to do if you want to 100% the game (weird circumstance tbh)
i remember getting arkham asylum with my PS3 amazing game, i never played the others tho

Back when I did my replay I had to dust off the 360 lmao.

I did the same!! Realised just as I finished that The Xbox 360 disc works on a xbox one so that’s a possibility too
Origins is so good

By the time I got around to Asylum after 100% Origins (both DLCs), Matter of the Family, and Asylum, THAT was when Origins finally became backwards compatible lol.
I took a break from my replay for a bit, I love City and 100% multiple times back in the day but the game I knew I was going to loathe doing it for was Knight, and boy I was right

Ahhhh that Must’ve been fun 😭 yeah knight must’ve sucked, I’m surprised it didn’t drive you insane tbh
I really like Arkham knight and I know 100%’d it would make me never wanna play it ever again so I’ve cooled off on it
Origins really deserved the remaster too, kinda sad it never got it.
What got the remaster? Asylum & City?
Is there a collection of A, C & K I can buy on Steam?

The side missions in Knight aren’t the worst thing in the world, but many were plotlines that were so hyped up in the previous games before it, the biggest examples being Hush and Deathstroke. Just such wasted potential man
The biggest headache of course was the Riddler stuff man Jesus Christ. The previous Riddler stuff was honestly fun to do imo, but in Knight, they made so tedious. To get a lot of those trophies you have to get rid of all the Arkham Knights outposts, if you don’t, you’ll just die tryna collect riddles. That also goes for the tanks, the landmines, etc.
Knight is blessed with the best combat of the series though, so doing the challenge maps were a lot of fun (for the most part). Back when the game came out, you could only play the challenge maps as predetermined characters, but since so many people complained, because this was never a thing before, they changed that in a later update. This makes some challenge maps much easier and much more difficult with certain characters.
Also, while it’s not part of the completion, there were two Batman skins that were completely unobtainable for me. One being this, since you needed to make a post on the WB Forums, which don’t exist anymore
and the Adam West Batman skin, which is a PS exclusive. I was playing on Xbox One. However, the 1969 Batamobile DLC has the character trophy where it features Batman, Robin & the mobile in full view
It’s just sitting there, taunting me
