yo im actually disgusted by the opinions ITT, Knight is easily the best gameplay wise (fuck all the batmobile haters Rocksteady put their foot into it) but I won't argue if u dont fw the story as much

Also Origins is def the worst, moving around the city in that game actually feels so awful I couldn't finish it on my replay

Also the fact that Knight was made in 2015 and still competes with games today graphically is nuts

Got the remastered recently. Asylum is amazing so far

Had origins on PS3. Was bugged even after patches, reached about 70 percent of the way through 3 times but that s*** would always crash at that point. Can't even play it on PC anymore.
All others are A1 games though.

i remember when the og arkham asylum demo came out i played it like 50 times

Boss fights were less inventive than the first two, so in comparison, it feels a little less thought out gameplay wise

It’s still a phenomenal game in its own right though

Knight is peak gameplay without a doubt, its absolutely incredible. Really wish the story was handled better, but maybe Suicide Squad will help wrap up some unanswered questions.

Havent played these a lot, but Arkham Night was a freeby for ps plus, and I really enjoyed that one

Series is hard to rank tbh. Origins highkey has a top 2 story and boss fights but majorly lacks in terms of atmosphere.

Knight mastered the gameplay, atmosphere, and open-world but completely dropped the ball on boss fights and delivered an underwhelming story.

And Asylum does all of these aspects pretty decently, but where does that place it? Tough to decide.

I remember picking up Arkham Asylum one summer without any previous knowledge of the game. Was completely blown away

It would be hard for me to rank them. Maybe Asylum #1 for nostalgia, Knight is great too even though I hated the Batmobile sections

Playing through AK on steam deck right now while traveling and ngl

The batmobile deadass makes the game a boring slog. The combat and stealth are a1 tho but that s*** ruins the pace

Had way more fun with City and Origins
