imagine rockism and poptimism would merge to create an ideological branch that wouldn't be heavily biased. I'd love to see that happen and I guess we're moving in that direction unless alternative music gives a giant f*** you. However, I doubt that. Alternative Music more so seems to much more ahead in that discourse.

Probably cause it was advertised as a musically diverse breakthrough from an otherwise mediocre artist and it has kept that undeserving acclaim through the years + being released at the height of poptimism breakthrough

I'd imagine they churn these lists out by getting a different branch of voters for each list they do, hence the inconsistencies. But you have a point, GKMC was like #80 on their 2010s list and seems to have replaced TPAB here. At least with our lists, any changes were always from the same group of people
