The thing about that’s legit weird is that the s*** he makes STINKS. Malcolm and Marie got no naked scenes iirc and that was an all time terrible movie. Man made a self insert to complain about a critic except with the self insert critics liked his movies TOO much🤣
Crew is complaining?
was that not the bulk of the rolling stone article beyond the plot point highlights?
People really don't like sexually explicit art these days, it's weird considering how normalised s***work has become, p***ography use is commonplace, but people really have a lot of beef with even non-explicit s***scenes
My theory is that these objections are largely from younger people who live with their parents and obviously don't wanna see that stuff with their parents around
infantilization of women in general i think is what got us here

from what ive seen directly from the actors involved is that everyone is still in full support of the project. Does the rolling stone article have interviews or something? Or is it the same source that keeps saying that beyonce videos are dropping every month?
Oh no!
Dest better be working for Rolling Stone
Oh no!
'I was so drained by the end of it,” one crew member says. “I was like, ‘I can’t have a job make me cry every day because I have two hours to sleep, and I’m being pulled 100 directions because nobody knows what they’re doing, or nobody knows what they want because we don’t know what we’re filming'
'“There was always this sense of chaos because we never had a plan on what was going to happen today, or tomorrow, or the next scene,” one crew member explains.'
the outrage over the content is tipper gore type s*** because the rolling stone is bad, but these are pretty clear examples of how the show isn't to function because the crew is mistreated to the extreme

So not actually mistreatment
Just sounds like an unorganized project, not abuse

This isn’t mistreatment or abuse at all, this is just a production with poor planning
So not actually mistreatment
Just sounds like an unorganized project, not abuse
yeah you need to be stuffing eggs up the production assistant's p**** to constitute 'mistreatment' for this to leak out its a s***ty set with a bunch of clowns running the show lol

Abuse/mistreatment on set is what Joss Whedon did, there’s a big difference between that and a set being unorganized
if this is marketing, it sure is working. can’t wait to see this s***show/classic and be outraged/thrilled.

sorry but if if you're getting two hours sleep on your middling hbo drama you're being mistreated
sorry but if if you're getting two hours sleep on your middling hbo drama you're being mistreated
Welcome to America
sorry but if if you're getting two hours sleep on your middling hbo drama you're being mistreated
Again, not really mistreatment, just a poorly planned production
Also I love how you’re ignoring all of the crew workers who came out in support of the production lmao

its not like they are forcing/blackmailing them lol

yeah its like saying School is mistreating their students by giving them work and tests that keep them up at night
with a 75 mil budget? that's disgusting
How do you think they were getting paid?
Again, not really mistreatment, just a poorly planned production

sam lev taking over to reshoot and re-write for another 20 mil is hardly a 'poorly planned production' that is a child not getting his way
