I can see Konami loaning the IPs to Sony for a limited number of games.

I don’t think Kojima wants to do another Metal Gear game but I’m sure he would be up for doing Silent Hills still.

Konami make a lot less money from these IPs than you think, they only use them for pachinko machines now and I don’t think Sony would stop them from continuing to do that

Yea they'd license the rights to the IP for however many years like the Marvel/Sony's Spiderman deal. They make too much $$$ off the pachinko machines, they won't sell of their IPs outright.

Hopefully Sony gets all 3 of the IPs, I'd love a Soulsborne style Castlevania game, Kojima's Silent Hills & let Sony Bend use their Syphon Filter knowledge & experience to MGS

MGSV is the highest selling Metal Gear game and garnered great reviews from gaming press.

Silent Hills PT is highly rated by gamers/press and consoles with PT installed go for hundreds

Sony exclusives exist because Sony bankroll them. Same as Microsoft and I don’t see them putting their exclusives on PlayStation. Unfortunately it’s just a sure fire way to sell your console. In a perfect world we’d only need to own one console.

PT remains one of the most quintessential gaming experiences of my whole life. I had played it through so many times with different groups of people and it was so heartbreaking when the project fell through. I’m glad it ended up being so influential but damn I wish this game would get made.
