    Yupppp thought so

    Especially being a figure like The Weeknd (which I’m assuming was BBTM era judging by the hair)

    Hopefully dude isn’t running around moving like that these streets are too messy

    the movie was set in may 2012 so right before trilogy dropped. don't think his hair was at that length ye but that's besides the point. he strikes me as a guy who would tell caucasian girls 'I wanna f*** you so bad' while doing coke with them, but in a non creepy way to avoid the me too

    Were y'all feeling the way the movie wrapped up ? For Sandler's character

  • BJontel

    The whole movie was about him being selfish and addicted. I thought it was a bit too long.

    I would say the movie itself and story is overrated but it gets kinda overshadowed because of A. Sandler.

    Adam Sandler was amazing and really painful to watch sometimes but I mean that in a good way because he played that so well.

    I agree with length. Some scenes should've been cut , but Sandler is amazing in this. The overlapping dialogue makes this so intense and natural

    it wasnt pleasing to see but it fit the anxiety buildup and Howard's downfall. He could only play his luck for so long

    @Flytrap

    Connie's not a good guy. The Safdies are making sure you don't forget that because it can be really easy to root for him through all this thinking his intentions are pure. It happens at the point in the movie where you're starting to jive with him and feel empathy for him and it's the Safdies purposefully emphasizing that Connie has issues you cannot and should not condone even if what he's doing may seem righteous.

    It ties in with the main theme of the film dude.
