Longfellow is surprising. He was never a standout sketch performer, but for years there seemed to be a lot of speculation/ hope that he’d take over Weekend Update. There have been serious rumors about an Update shakeup, but I guess it won’t be what people were expecting.

Heidi I assume was a mutual decision that it was time to move on. She was solid.

Damn, didn't realize until tonight that Ego left too. Aside from the fact that she was the only black woman, I thought she was one of the strongest cast members. Probably the biggest loss of the offseason.

I feel like they need to bring in a cast member mid season to have at least one black woman. Ideally they'd have more than one, but they need at least one.
