Wow is it usually caused by something? Like heavy drinking or bad diet? Seems too common in men 40+
genetics and diet/drinking/smoking, most who get diagnosed were smokers. s***s sad and deteriorates you quickly
Didn't even realise Angie Stone passed away as well...
Wow. That is heavy.
Really mad reading about how women jus wanted him to take his shirt off and that being the ultimate reason he stopped music for a while
He probably playing RDR2 in heaven now
Still can‘t believe it
It’d be super cool if R* let him play test GTA6 like they did with RDR2

Prolly one of the only people to be able to cover Marvin and Prince (especially Prince) and make it rock it like its own track.
Woke up today still can’t believing we lost him. This shock is going to last for a long time.
his whole point is don’t rush artists out to drop music. there’s a reason d’angelo took that approach
that guy is a f***ing a****** don't bother with him

Assuming that’s his dads church the full service/performance is prolly with the church assuming all of that was taped
Might’ve been posted itt, but does anyone have a link to the ktt thread when black messiah dropped?

Jus when you thought it couldn’t get sadder
Gonna be bumping D'angelo a lot.
Hugely influential. His music crossed boundaries and defied simple genres. He sexually awakened a lot of women (and men) in the 2000's and late 90's.
Very sexy while being artsy fartsy and incredibly intricate. He has a classic genre defining album in the 90's, 2000's and 2010's. A true artist.
I grew up on the sounds of voodoo and brown sugar and experience the hype around Black Messiah coming out and not only delivering but OVERdelivering . A true cornerstone to his genre and essential listening for anyone who likes RnB
I've uploaded a better master of Africa acoustic.
It's truly a beautiful recording, one of my favourites of his
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ngzWWaSu1Mpremo, d'angelo, j dilla, alc all in one pic
Been playing him all day, Brown Sugar in particular. Back to back to back to back its such a smooth listen you don't get tired of It. Even went to the gym and despite never playing slower jams while working out i could not stop this from playing and honestly had one of my favorite workouts.
Currently obsessed with cruising and when we get by.
Also D's death got me all emotional over prince as well lol
