it’s the ubiquity of guns and violence in the USA. >3 guns per person so it’s not some huge chore to slaughter a bunch of innocents with a gun you got hours earlier

compare that to Japan, which has maybe 5 gun deaths per year, where if you want to commit violence and make it count you gotta literally build your own blunderbuss to assassinate the former president
