that's a knee-jerk reaction op. you can still instill social skills by placing children in office environments and having them work and contribute to society while developing cognitive abilities.
when you think about it, education is wasted on the youth who hate school and are too immature to show the seriousness and commitment necessary for learning.
so if you eradicate schools for children and start training them with more hands on experience in various industries you could fully integrate different generations for other tasks while lessening the financial and emotional stress and work load of adults
maybe then the society can transition towards a different time frame of education, where you work from the ages 0-20, go to school from 20-30, pursue creative passions and interest from 30-50 while procreating to continue the worker supply chain, and then re-enter the work force from 50-100 as supervisors for the infant employees
Great post! The sheer number of kids I see without resumes by the time they can talk is just staggering
I mean they are pretty much a place for capitalist indoctrination. We should abolish them
Lol nobody is saying to eradicate schools tho?
I don’t get why people keep saying this
Are people on here really this out of touch? You’d think a place full of young adults would have some sense of awareness of the bigger discussions

You can't expect a bunch of KTT posters to understand.

I agree with this statement and the fact that schools teach us to be subservient, but surely an education system is necessary for a healthy society no?
Obviously reform is the alternative answer to eradication, but I can't think of any structure that would work that isn't particularly close to the traditional teacher/student dynamic especially when you take into account the fact that you're dealing with children.
I think college style learning is different than that of the public school system and allows for freedom and shifts the dynamic away from blind obedience, but I just don't think children can comprehend that.

do they have schools in socialist societies
again, a controversial idea to humans so entrenched in a singular viewpoint of civilization and humanity that they are intellectually incapable, by design might I add, to consider alternative ways of living.
that was simply an example, as I thought ktt had accepted the idea that infants are capable of swimming but maybe that's even too revolutionary. I'm aware that new ideas are often best illustrated through visual representation. therefore, I have taken the liberty to create a mockup of a promotional flyer for a non-profit pool cleaning organization where the means of production is delegated to infants:
yooo who the f*** is trying to eradicate schools
what kinda debate is OP bringing up? ive never heard anyone saying this
willing to put in $5 that op saw a thread on thedonald saying some s*** like "the dems want to ERADICATE schools" and came to post it on here as it was some huge talking point
