The Irishman is the story of Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman and World War II veteran who develops his skills during his service in Italy. Now an old man, he reflects on the events that defined his career as a hitman, particularly the role he played in the disappearance of labor leader Jimmy Hoffa, his longtime friend, and his involvement with the Bufalino crime family.

seeing in theater so hopefully it works out. Trailer does kinda make it look netflix-y, but I can already see the way they playing with shadows and lighting is crazy.
most anticipated movie of the last ten years can't believe we are getting this gonna be doing the MJ popcorn gif in the theatres.
Just watched. Really amazing. Really feels like his capstone film and just exactly what people have been saying about how it feels like the culmination of all his work. The films whole energy is slower and reflective, not at all in a bad way, just like the director and the characters in the film are all just older and the story is told with the tired but clear perspective that comes with that. Hilarious movie too. This would be the perfect film to end his career on but of course I hope there’s more. The violence in this one feels more disturbing than any of his movies somehow too
This month
f*** Netflix
thought I was gonna watch this in theaters today
marty really lived up to the hype for this that's f***ing nuts. heard the 3 of them killed their roles! so hyped
Saw this yesterday. This was probably my most anticipated movie of all time and it actually lived up to the hype. It was different from other Scorsese crime films, everyone was fantastic in it and most of all it was a beautiful film visually with a very unique style. Also, without saying too much, the cameos were fantastic. There were a bunch of “holy s*** that’s...” moments
