I mean technically juice was late 2010s. Where are the good rookies from 2020s? I feel like outside of opium/rage not a lot of exciting new artists.

Technically drake Kendrick Sean are also 2000s

Point is early 2010s felt much more stacked with rappers with potential. Could name 20. Much less today.

It’s not his fault, he dropping music in the wrong time. Plus he didn’t get anything going since there beef going on, and have small marketing and no roll out at all.

  • The genre been stale for years

Since 2016 skill and substance have been deprioritized among new rappers in favor of gimmicks, chasing hits, chasing trends, and looking the part.

Now we have a whole generation who literally has no idea how to make impactful rap music
