I wanna hear some interesting s*** you know from jobs y'all worked at. I worked mainly in food/restaurant service before graduating college so I don't got nothing crazy interesting.

    • Sometimes they will put s*** back on the grill/stove to rewarm it, then give it to you.
    • I seen people take tiny pieces of food before serving it to customers
    • If you get water in a glass it is 100% tap water even if they tell you it isn't

At nicer hotels just being nice to the front desk person can sometimes get u an upgrade. You can also try and bribe them with a tip if you're bold.

Source: i would give nice guests better rooms/views and s*** and even upgraded some ppl for under the table tips and one time weed.

Now I work at a homeless shelter and its nothing really much to say about that. It's more effective and cheaper to house homeless people first i.e. the low barrier model where you let them keep using d**** and s***. They are more likely to get their life together if they have a place to live and we see much higher success rate with that model. And again, it's cheaper. Housing first should always be the model.

In restaurants they will drop your food and pick it back up like it’s nothing during the rush hours. A lot of cross contamination going on, sometimes who’s on the grill will mix up the cheese and non cheese spatulas and act like nothing happened. Sometimes they don’t always wash their hands before they deal with your food.

Like I knew fast food was nasty but didn’t know how nasty Until I worked at shake shack

after reading r/kitchenconfidential I just assumed everyone employed at a restaurant was doing coke, getting drunk off wine, and chain smoking cigs on shift

When I worked fast food we worked with a heroin addict and one day I went to check on her when she was doing the dishes I saw her wrist bleeding into the sink.

I told the manager it would probably be a good idea to rewash the dishes and he didn’t wanna do it

i work for an IT company and its basically nothing to hide other than the fact that the school's infrastructure we contract for is completely unorganized. Do not go to a school that is commercialized on television!
