Still good tho but im sayin, saw lotta niggas praising s80 for the same s*** they s*** on kendrick for today i had to pull up with the stick now them niggas crying

    TPAB > GKMC > MMBS > DAMN > S80 > UU > OD > KLEP imo tho

I like them all, but bro is so much better in damn near every aspect after his mixtape days imo

    Unforgivable

Sxn80 would have been a perfect album had it not been for No Make Up

yeah that hook on no make-up is so ass

spoils that solid opening 3 track run too lmao

  • Jun 16, 2022

    Mr morale by far

I can say with confidence despite the time and nostalgia factor Section.80 has, MM&TBS is better.

where’s the banger? N95? imagine listening to that goofy voice he does on that track in public

Section 80, but mostly because of nostalgia and the replay value for mr morale might be the lowest right now out of any kendrick album (for me)

been hearing that track everywhere quite a bit lately so idk man

silent hill, count me out, savior and mr morale are all there too

and that’s not to say that having “bangers” even makes something better

Mr Morale killing it in the poll. I voted for it as well. In terms of its lyrical themes I find it more resonant and sophisticated, plus the songs on S80 that I dislike stand out more negatively than they do on Mr Morale. They're both 8.5/10 albums, really great, but I know which one I think is better.

Do you think he has progressed musically from then to now?

    lol what

It’s actually interesting how these two can be viewed as companion pieces — Mr. Morale affirming what Kendrick says on Ab-Soul’s Outro (human motherfucking being over dope ass instrumentation)
Completing a whole circuit as a generationally successful rap star just to end up in the same place in a sense
