Can anyone who has played this attest to this? I remember I saw the first trailer for it and it looked pretty dope for sure, but I had never been interested in this series.

Nope it actually doesn’t. Lance mcdonald with his jaolbroken ps5 installed this game on a hard drive and forced it to run and it ran fine

Dont get me wrong, I'm not clowning on sony too bad cuz I know amazing next gen games are coming, they always do. That's why I invested in my ps5. Still though, it sucks not many others out there yet but this happens pretty much every console gen where the true juggernauts dont start to drop until like 2 or 3 years in

Idk though the whole flying through worlds with no loading screens I'm sure the ps4 would definitely struggle in some capacity to do that that smoothly

graphics and performance wise its a very impressive game

however everything else is absolute trash. its not worth playing at all

Next gen ass so far all they got is half assed remakes besides Demons and ports besides Returnal n Ratchet lmao atm. Other "next gen exclusives" got backwards ports later on like Godfall & Deathloop, and others are cross gen still like GT7, Horizon 2 n GOW5

plus, we're never gonna see a ps2 -> ps3 or n64 -> gamecube level jump in games anymore. from here on out real generational difference is going to come down to performance type of measurements probably
