I mean I felt it was thread worthy cause we reflect on Rockstar games and where the industry is at in all art. People demanded an album for a month but if we got OG Donda we call it trash and all call clown it whether there is a Drake album or not. If you sign on for a major project and putting Donda on your resume and you dont wake up can we act surprised at harshness? Can we act like some of best art doesn't come from sleepness nights and mania?

i get her point. i don't think the 'labour' should be forced. but i do think artists end up working a lot of hours to make their music great. It's no surprise you hear stories of severe exhaustion and things like that.

You'd think with the amount of collaborators Ye has they could share the burden though.

And as I say, if Kanye is willing to let go of so much of the writing and production work. Then he might as well give it to enough people that they don't have to be severely exhausted.

Obviously the flip side of that is financially the less people involved the bigger a cut the producers working those crazy hours will get.

It's complicated, but ultimately an artist with Kanye's resources shouldn't have engineers experiencing burnout
