The "gift" for Mr. Milchick is insane lmao
I was jaw dropped the whole scene
With Natalie confirming she got the same gift too
Man what the f***
Alright, so
I really hope Mark doesn’t die this season due to reintegration. The “be careful” from Devon right before… I know next episode is about to be an absolute masterpiece visually, but holy s\*\*\* I did not expect them to full send it this quickly.
I’m also fascinated by Cobel’s reaction to seeing buddy get out of the car. That juxtaposed with how they were doing Milchick at the same time… there are clearly tiers of Lumon employees, and it’s fascinating how blurry the lines are even to them.
Also, it’s absolutely Helena on the severed floor. She said “oh yeah she was retired” so matter of factly when they were talking about Ms. Casey/Gemma… and the weird tension in the hallways. I have no idea what her motive is either.
What a show. Can’t wait for next week’s episode, can’t believe we’re not even halfway through the season and s***’s already hitting the fan like this.
obviously the ending was insane but dylan’s wife having more chemistry with the his innie than his outie, the cracks starting to appear on milchick and getting more severe with cobel as lumon mistreat them, the export hall and the return of the GOATS r all so huge too .
my only fear was that they'd drag out reveals until the end of the season but that is completely gone we r witnessing something sososo special dude
why tf is irving being so dramatic yet he had the most boring outie experience
he saw his soulmate with another man.
AND his outie studying and painting things from the innie world.
he's hurting AND can't even comprehend what he saw. plus i'm fully convinced he's on to helena so he doesn't even feel like he can dig into his s\*\*\*.
"i’d draw one everyday i couldn’t see him"
I feel like the answer for Helly can simply be that it’s both of them. Helena could be reintegrated as well on Lumons end (who realized last season you can successfully do this). Still don't fully buy that it's strictly Helly R or Helena.
So far, innies and outties seem different enough to tell a part. Mark is the best example of this and Cobel knew it immediately when something was off. Helly comes across like she carries elements of both of them rather than Helena faking it that well by studying clips of Helly. in that scene with Mark she seems like part of her wants to kiss him again but the other knows certain information
I thought it was about to turn into a Wicker Man situation for a minute there when she started ringing that bell.

love this take
Oh are they really doing this now?
Yes
The "gift" for Mr. Milchick is insane lmao
Wait why lol I missed that part didn’t get it
The disgust on Milchicks face when presented with the gift
Didn’t get this part, what’s the issue?

assuming he's a bit grossed out about it all, realizing everything is a bitttt too culty for his liking, potentially the start of a heel

hope so, thats prob why cobel is gna step back in smh
devon is hot
I saw a theory that Luman's goal is to bring people back to life. Cold harbour is an experiment for Mark to bring Gemma back to life by sorting out her data. This is all for the goal of bringing Kier back to life
I saw a good theory about all the Pineapples which is that it's the only fruit that can sprout a new plant from a fragment, rather than a seed or something
Wait so does reintegration basically kill innie mark or fuse him with outie mark? Kinda confusing. Also I really don't like that Mark didn't ask more questions about what's going on with his wife but I get that they probably don't want to reveal that yet...
based on Petey I'm assuming they fuse
but Reghabi said she got "better" at it whatever that means
Finished up the first season last night. Very dope cliffhanger. Honestly if the series was just one season I think that'd be a great way to end it right there. But since there is a second season I'm gonna assume that Selvig/Cobel is still going to be out of the picture. Shorty had the board finally audibly speak and confirm her firing, something tells me it's no way you're coming back from that lol with her gone I'm just gonna assume that Mr. Milchick is taking over. Which might end up being worse for anybody at Lumon because he's way more sinister and conniving than Cobel was.
Crazy to think that Helly's outie was the hypocritical shill for Lumon/Severance this whole time, but we had to assume that was likely to be the case when her outtie denied her resignation the first time despite being straight up told what was going on in there.
My only question that I hope gets answered in the second season, if Gemma was alive as Ms. Casey, but Ms. Casey was let go...is she now dead again?
as someone who waited three years for the second season
i disagree that the s1 finale would have been a good place to stop
