Minor Modificationsâ took home Sun Valley Film Festivalâs High Scribe Award.
"Back in January, rumors started swirling that Shia LaBeouf had written his next screenplay following the success of his autobiographical film Honey Boy. The leaked script revealed that the plot centered around BROCKHAMPTONâs founding member Kevin Abstract titled Minor Modifications. The project started after the two became close through weekly group therapy sessions per a feature story via i-D. The sessions ultimately inspired Shia to write the script and enter it in an emerging screenwriterâs contest, and won."

but who's gonna play S?
Streets saying S is going to star as himself
Itâs f***ed he was even allowed to enter let alone win this award lmao
Yeah, did a quick google search and apparently this award is supposed to be for emerging talent.
Streets is saying Rami Malek gonna play S
apparently ron jeremy is up for djoats
Not gonna lie, it's pretty wack how an already known/established actor gets to enter an emerging screenwriter contest and gets to win it. It makes me think of those regular ass people who have been writing for years, and this is finally an opportunity they have, and they pretty much get a "Fuck you, you're not Shia LaBeouf with a script about a popular queer rap group/"boy band" frontman, thanks for entering anyway ".
But I don't know, maybe that's just me being overly cynical about the entertainment industry again.

Yeah I think it's really f***ed up, everyone had to pay a contest fee just for a well-established celebrity with connections already winning an award that was all about linking emerging talent with people in the buisness.
If this becomes a movie and thereâs no mention of KTT, Iâm gonna be sooooo mad
