I hope you're right so persona fans check out mainline series

It is story driven, but the story isn’t anything like persona and you can basically forget all about the social sim aspect. Also no human party members by the looks of it. And you can expect the music to be really good

How is the nocturne remaster

from what i hear a bit lackluster. graphics are better and they fixed the most annoying part of the original game (no skill selection during fusion), but overall a disappointing version of a legendary game

It's not the same as Persona, and a lot more dark.

They are great games, try SMTIV, it's the more recent one and the more accesible if you coming from Persona

4a definitely has a very "persona feel" to it. definitely prefer 4/4a over nocturne (in general), but especially for character interactions. love seeing characters interact and develop instead of seeing them like 3 times during the game on how they're going to change the world or some s***

Idk why people expect remasters of ps2 era games to be more than remasters. They made improvements for an already good game. Just don’t go into it expecting a remake. People have a hard time differentiating between the two. The game itself is fine. The price tag is the issue lol
