Hes being obtuse for some reason. Ign reviewer said it felt like a watered down persona 5 and they really wanted this to be a new persona game rather than a smt game. There's no smt fan having a chip on their shoulder, its a critic that is validating what smt fans have felt for years: the franchise is being actively looked down upon by some reviewers for simply not being persona. At least for now its only ign that had this trash ass take
