Playing through this right now. Just cleared the second map. It's crazy how much better the group is fleshed out with just a few extra scenes from the original. Also having missions on the tokyo overworld is cool af.

Just got done with Shinjuku (I think? i just entered the dungeon from SMT3 lmao) that area was huge but it was cool as s***, such an improvement over the other zone from the first route. Also holy f*** at the final boss for that zone and the cutscene after it (I need all the Qadistu in my life)

Honestly my favourite game this year with Unicorn Overlord, the gameplay is so damn fun

I haven’t seen much from Metaphor Refantazio lately but its gonna be pretty disappointing going from this to Persona corridors

Metaphor looks a lot more exploration based than Persona.

I know they have already shown us a lot that tells us its completely different from Persona but still… I just really hope it doesn't play too much like Persona

Apparently maxing out vit is actually viable because of the way it scales, I been putting points in agility but haven’t noticed a huge difference so I guess its time to respec

Just finished Vengeance on the law ending

No idea how to get the true ending (I killed Shiva and I thought Mastema would show up at some point but he never did?) since I didn't look anything up but I will probably get the other endings at some other point.

Shoutout to these 2 for carrying me throughout the game.

Agrat's innate skill might be the most broken thing in the game since it means she crits all the time and Konohana is Idun but more broken

Also Konohana has a magatsuhi skill that stacks with her innate skill which means that upon use the party pretty much gets almost half their MP back

Konohana Sakuya is f***ing cracked man lol. She did not leave the party once I got her.

As for the endings there's only the law and chaos ones for Vengeance. For the extra stuff, go to where you first meet Mastema in Shinjuku, and he'll have a quest for you. Do that, then you'll be able to fight a super boss at the same spot. Beating that will unlock the Godborn mode for NG+. There's another super boss in the Creation route as well.

Ah I thought there would be a true ending for the Vengeance Route but I guess this makes sense since you are essentially picking Yoko or Tao. Oh s\*\*\*, yeah I already did the side quest he gave me but I never went back to him, just went back and I a new quest pop up good lookin out

Do wish there was a true ending since I tend to find the neutral endings to be the best, but the law ending basically is the best case scenario for the characters so I think it works out lol.

The super boss is pretty tough. I beat Demi Fiend without too much issue, though might be considered cheesing it with what I did lol. Still gotta get around to beating the new super bosses but I'm just too lazy rn lol. Part of me wants to start a new VN since I got White Album 2 and Tsukihime Remake all ready to go.

I just started the superboss, seen Megido Ark hit my Agrat for 2k and decided to go do something else

Gotta hear your thoughts on that game. I never made a post after I finished up the postgame story and the DLC, but it’s definitely been my favorite new game I’ve played this year by a decent margin (P3R and SMTV V don’t count).
