Wild thread but back on topic

I think it's s***ty when men act like they're oppressed. All of my friends from high school love speaking up about men's suicide rates on social media and advocating for men's mental health without ever acknowledging their own privilege as a man and speaking up for women.

Talking about men's issues always has this 'we're men and we're told we're not allowed to speak up' spin to it and that in itself is toxic

Yeah and they'll act like the trans suicide rate doesn't exist. I'm ashamed for believing in that extremist "red pill" men's rights garbage that is just thinly veiled sexism

Fr, completely silent on all issues relating to marginalised groups but when a social media challenge comes up for men's mental health they act like they're heroes for posting something smh

how can caring about money be natural

Women (broadly speaking) want, perhaps even prioritize a men that they perceive can keep them secure and provide for them. In our society that happens w money. In previous societies it was based off strength, or land, or connections to a king/lord

I agree with the thread but posts like this are so reductive

There are several layers to masculinity. Men like women are slaves to structures of gender And society as well

Look at ptsd and depression rates among black men.

This s*** im dealing w it so this post just extra wack fam

Especially if you’re 21 in a relatively small area and have 20+ bodies I don’t want to be seen with you.

That s*** is terrible for your image

I’m not “doubling down” on any sort of toxic behaviour, as I haven’t carried myself in a toxic manner itt. If you niggas are mad that I’m acknowledging the fact that y’all are acting like some hoes, then that’s on you.

If time is money, that means your wasting your money on some "hoes", which makes you a trick/simp

Shaming other men for showing vulnerability.

I shame my boys who show vulnerability only because I know people will take advantage of it. Is that a bad thing? Genuinely curious btw not trying to prove you (or any1) wrong

The number one thing for me is obsessing over body counts. A guy will meet some bad female wit a great personality and find out she been with three other guys and b like “that’s three to many I had to let her ass go bruh 🤒🤦‍♂️😷”

The other things is forcing their taste in music and film on everyone in their social group just can it bruh

Not picking on men just been doing some self reflecting and reevaluating my character traits

if that b**** got a high body count she got to go . facts
